At the base of Pete’s Mountain, nestled in the fertile dell between the Tualatin and Willamette rivers, Oregon Cider Company was born. What started as an adult science project between brothers, evolved into a hard cider company focused on incorporating diverse ingredients to formulate original and unique ciders. We create dry, slightly sweet hard ciders, while maintaining a clear and colorful product.
Oregon Cider Company made its first appearance at a family wedding when faulty beer taps brought the celebration to a halt. Luckily, Oregon Cider Company had brought cider to the event to test the product. Initially, the crowd of beer-drinkers was wary due to their preconception of hard cider and then they tried it. The line was overflowing and the cider was a hit. The overwhelming approval from a crowd of entrenched beer-drinkers affirmed that our hard cider could satisfy a diverse group of adult beverage drinkers.
